Our Investigation Process

The steps we take to ensure a fair, transparent and compliant investigation:

  1. Fact Find – We start with the initial information provided by the individual who has flagged the issue.

  2. Immediate Actions – Where required, we recommend protective steps such as a stand down to maintain safety and integrity.

  3. Interviews – Within 24 hours we commence interviews with the key parties involved in the matter.

  4. Evidence Review – We examine supporting evidence (emails, records, CCTV, policies) to confirm or dismiss claims raised during interviews.

  5. Report – A finalised investigation report outlines findings, substantiates (or otherwise) the allegations, and provides recommendations for next steps.

  6. Action – We lead or support any required outcomes, from disciplinary measures through to termination, retraining or mediation.

  7. Prevention – The process doesn’t end with the report. We help strengthen your systems, policies, processes and training to reduce the likelihood of similar issues in future.
